People seek help for a variety of reasons – a long-term problem that doesn’t go away, an immediate crisis, or feelings of emptiness/lack of meaning to life. Giving time and attention to your distress in the company of a listening, empathic, impartial therapist can lighten the load and allow you space to review your situation, how you live and experience your life.
I have experience in working with a wide range of problems, including childhood neglect and abuse, relationship difficulties, life crises, depression, anxiety and stress, low self-esteem, anger and trauma. I am knowledgeable and experienced in working with Asperger Syndrome.
I have been working as an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor for the last 20 years, having qualified at the Chiron Centre for Body Psychotherapy in 1996.
As a holistic therapist I pay attention to the whole person. I believe that when we increase our awareness of our body, mind, heart and soul we can develop a deeper and truer sense of our self. This, in turn, allows us to explore our life story and understand what gets in the way of relaxation, vitality, joy and creativity.
